Main responsibilities:
-Direct the development of organizational strategy and provide tactical human resources to support to the company
-Ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of Human Resources processes and practices
-Ensure that compensation and benefits programs are well executed within group standards and practices and remain competitive versus the external market
-Provide advice, counsel and strategic direction to Company Senior Managers to ensure the team organization structure is designed and developed to meet the challenging requirements of the whole company
-Ensure that recruitment and retention strategies are developed and implemented which reduce turnover of key contributors / talent and ensure a steady flow of talent into the organization
-Ensure performance and reward systems and strategies are in place and in use, which assures appropriate recognition and alignment of managers and staff within China
-Ensure that timeliness and quality of HR services is maintained
-Provide employment law and employee relations’ advice and counsel to the
Management
-Development and implementation of HR policies and practices to develop the desired company culture in China
-Provide HR support to annual budgeting process and ensure all headcount targets are managed appropriately
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant discipline is preferred
-5 - 8 years HR experience, with a minimum 3 years managerial experience
-Leadership strength, coupled with an ability to translate vision into action plans and then take responsibility for delivery
-Understanding of how HR can effectively contribute to a demanding and changing business environment
-Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization
-Strong teamwork with an ability to interact with people from all functions and levels within the organization
-An understanding of broader business and employee issues in a constantly changing environment
-Demonstrated experience of managing employee and labor relations
-An understanding of manufacturing principles in a highly competitive environment
-Thorough knowledge of all government and state legislation that relates to employment
-Expertise in organizational design, talent management
-Fluent in English
-Very good knowledge on local law (PRC in regards to social law, health standards requirements, safety, environment standards).
-Ability to appropriately balance human aspects verses economical aspects
International experience is appreciated
