Management and implementation of the systems required in the Product Engineering Department for:
1.New product design. The associated tooling and simulation requirements
2.Control and management of current production tooling.
3.Basic layouts and budgets for tooling associated with new products.
4.Management, updating and regular review and control of the product design and associated tooling design.
5.Management of external supplier and internal quality checks required for major tooling modifications.
6.Management of external supplier and internal quality checks required for new tooling.
7.Control of budgets within the department, both general departmental budgets and tooling budgets.
Qualification
Education & Major: Bachelor degree and above and with the relevant engineering background
Experience: 10 years experience involved in tooling production and tooling design. 5 years experience in a management role responsible for the design and/or the production of die casting tooling. Would prefer a background of relevant experience working with tooling for aluminium castings casting and the related core production tooling particularly related to more complex product geometry.
Needs a solid background and understanding of CAD systems with specific working knowledge of Pr0-Engineer and Catia preferable
Language & Computer Requirements Fluent in both oral and written English, Require high level of IT literacy.
